Scott Bonner
Founder | Kanagawa Consulting
With more than 35 years of military service, business operations, and executive leadership experience, Scott founded Kanagawa Consulting to help small businesses strengthen performance and develop leaders who lead with character, sound judgment, and accountability.
His career began in the United States Air Force and continued for more than 28 years with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, where he advanced from a part-time food service position to Regional Vice President.
Executive experience. Practical perspective.
As Regional Vice President, Scott oversaw operations generating more than $500 million in annual revenue and over $50 million in earnings. His career spanned the United States, Europe, and the Pacific, with responsibilities in retail operations, strategic business development, organizational performance, and executive management.
Having worked at nearly every level of an organization, Scott understands both the decisions made in executive offices and the realities faced by the people responsible for delivering results.

Scott believes every person, every role, and every contribution matters. His leadership philosophy emphasizes integrity, accountability, empathy, sound judgment, and creating an environment where people have the tools and confidence to succeed.
